I've always enjoyed Boy Harsher but I don't think they ever really clicked in my brain until I watched The Runner. Now I can't get enough. Gordon Skramzy (Nathan)
Black Ceiling adds layers of grime and fuzz to the late 70s synthesizer revival and fills the gaps with ketamine. Oppressive, depressing and claustrophobic with twinkling melodies guaranteed to break your heart. Best track is WVFFLIFE, but LIKE YOU is a strong contender for joint first place. A couple of weaker tracks could have been left off to make this an even stronger album - IN MY HEAD & BENEATH HER SPELL fall the wrong side of cheesey and really let the rest of the tracks down.
